A Letter From Dr.

Dear Patient:
I take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my home page to learn about
my plastic and cosmetic surgery practice.
As a first step I am including in this letter general information on the type
of surgery that I perform in Costa RIca. Not only do we have the latest technology
and professionalism of the medical world, but also Costa Rica is an excellent
tourism destination.
I encourage you to travel through my pages but if after you review
the information enclosed you have any doubts, please donít hesitate
to call or contact me.
People normally ask their travel agent for air transportation and hotel
recommendations. Please ask them for suitable accommodations close
to the hospital. The hospital
is located at 8th avenue between 15 & 17 street. There are a several suitable
B&B around the area which offer accommodations for US$60 per person which
include three meals and will also pick you up at the airport. All of them are
located a two dollars taxi fare away from my office. If you arrive the day
before surgery you can spend the first night at the hospital at no charge.
I have been working as a Plastic Surgeon since 1973. It is my professional
objective to provide personalized surgery and medical support to each individual
patient. Even though this is very important throughout the whole process, it
becomes of outmost importance during the first three, very critical, days following
surgery. Strict control is also required during the first two weeks after the
operation.
To advance in the process and if you are interested in a face lift,
it is encouraged that you supply me with front and two profile pictures
of your face (8" by
10"), preferably color prints. If in your case you are interested in surgery
of other areas, pictures are also required to be able to evaluate your needs.
Please, no ornaments or make up. A complete medical history with a recent check
up including electrocardiogram, blood, HIV, and urine tests is required. The
pictures and any pertaining information can be sent through my Miami address
and within two weeks an operation can be scheduled. Travelerís checks are welcome.
The purpose of this letter is to get you acquainted with the different surgeries
available.
